Kaanapali Beach is located on the west side of Maui. If you are standing on the South side of Black Rock you will be in front of the Maui Sheraton. As you walk south the next hotel will be the Kaanapali Beach Hotel. Just south of the Kaanapali Beach Hotel is The Whaler, a condominium complex with vacation rentals. Continuing down the beach is Whalers Village, where shopping, restaurants and some beach side bars line the path beneath umbrella and palm trees. Moving south along the beach the next hotel is the Westin; the stretch of beach between Whalers Village and the Westin is known as "Dig-me Beach". After the Westin is another condominium complex called the Alli. The last two hotels on Kaanapali Beach are the Marriott and the Hyatt. The north side of Kaanapali Beach is Canoe Beach where the Lahaina Canoe Club has their hut and canoes'.
