Maui has many sport fishing boats available for charter. If you are on the west side of Maui you will charter a fishing boat out of Lahaina Harbor. This is only 3 miles from Gail's Maui vacation rental, so early morning departure times are not preceded with a long drive to the dock.

Maui sport fishing is not limited to the west side of the island. Many boats leave from Maalaea Harbor, located thirty minutes away by car. If you flew into Maui arriving at Kahalui Airport, the habor is located between Lahaina and Kahalui Airport.
